Seirin Acupuncture Atlas

The Seirin Atlas of Acupuncture

by Hans P. Ogal, Wolfram Stor

This is probably a very odd book to do a review on, as it’s more a pictorial atlas, however I was so impressed with this publication that I feel it warrants writing about.

This whole book is a goldmine of information regarding point location, the only drawback is that some of the point names don’t match those we know in 5 Element practice. However, their locations are the same, so I’ve gone through my copy of the book and altered the names that I’m not as familiar with. The layout in the book is very clear and concise and explains the point positions very clearly, there’s very little writing in the book but what there is, is very clear and explanatory.

When I first graduated, I often picked this book up to help me with my point location and it’s continued to be a constant companion in my practice.
