The Clinical Medicine Guide: A Holistic Perspective

by Stephen Gascoigne

If I have a complaint about this book, then it’s only a very minor one; I wish it had been published in hardback, as the amount of times that I’m going to refer to this publication will mean that it will soon become much worn.

Although written in a very TCM style and not particularly appealing to 5 Element practitioners I have found this book to be fantastic in its explanations of causes of disease and of pathogenic factors. It’s extremely well written and concise in its detail and every time I pick it up I find something new and interesting to read.

The book is packed with diagrams and flow charts and things that make the whole text a lot easier to understand, this is the type of book that you will be dipping in and out of for many years, hence the comment that I wish it had been a little bit stronger, but there you go you can’t have everything!
